Industrial Integration of GreenOil Filtration Systems

Ensuring Higher Operational Reliability at CMPC Maderas Through GreenOil Filtration

The CMPC holding company comprises a number of industries in the wood sector in southern Chile. It has five plants under the Maderas CMPC group, where dimensioned lumber, moldings, and wood panels are manufactured. In addition, in the pulp and paper sector, it has three production plants in Chile: Santa Fe, Laja, and Pacifico. In Brazil, it has the largest pulp and paper plant and is in the process of acquiring another.

After several meetings where our partner Hydraulitek introduced Greenoil Standard and discussed the importance of maintaining a sustainable standard over time regarding the cleanliness quality of the oil in critical hydraulic units, whether from the point of view of the complexity of the components or from the point of view of how important the equipment is in the production chain.

System Set-Up

The target was to replace an existing basic filtration set-up of 3 x 8” spin-on filters in series set-up, with the GreenOil WP1-P1-100 off-line filtration system. To support the integration of an INZOC IFj-3 particle counter GreenOil factory designed and integrated two access points for sensors to their filtration system for easy plug and play installation of the particle counter.

  • Reservoir 700 lts.
  • Oil ISO VG 46
  • Replacing the old Offline filtration system consisting of 3 x 8″units into one GreenOil Offline Lubrication Filtration System.
  • Set of four pumps, with proportional control.

These pumps are the most demanding components in terms of cleanliness level according to the ISO 4406 standard.
